Game Vet Weekend
An unequalled experience..some Babes were moved to tears. The privilege of experiencing this adventure with Brazen wildlife, is one the Bush Babes will treasure until they are old and grey...but still able to tell the tale in the corridors and on the sunny verandas of our retirement villages and old age homes where we intend to be the coolest 'ou tannies' that ever walked the earth. All glory to God for all our blessings. Amen.
5in1 Pilgrim's Rest Adventure
What a babeliciously fantastic weekend this was! We cried together, laughed together, nearly drowned together and took care of each others' wounds (physically, mentally and emotionally). Hats off to all these special Babes who stood together through every single challenge and chuckle on this adventure.

Kyknet Mbizi Outdoor Ekspo
The Bush Babes spent Saturday with a bevy of deaf Babes from St Vincent's school to introduce them to the outdoor and 4x4 lifestyle as part of Deaf Awareness Month at the Kyknet Mbizi Outdoor Expo! They got their 4x4 on with Andre de Villiers, they dusted it up with Rocking Rollers, sped off with N1 4x4, went on camel rides, enjoyed a 5D movie experience, spent some time with one of Bambela's newest orphan baby Vervet Monkeys and shook it up with L A Sport and Lionel Lewis in the Dakar Iveco rally truck!
Special Forces Weekend with Group 73
“What an incredible weekend, one that will stay with all of us for a very long time.” What makes an incredible weekend? Standing on the skids of a helicopter while it flies out over the plains of Harties, survival training, sleeping in the bush and weapons training with AK47’s is the perfect way! Definitely one of our best weekends ever.
Rhino Connect Anti-Poaching Weekend
An unforgettable weekend in the veld - sleeping under the stars, learning to read the bush and guarding rhino under a full moon! Thank you, Rhino Connect and WESTVAAL JACARANDA for an amazing experience. We are a lot closer now to understanding the hardships that rhino owners and anti-poaching units face every day.
Skydive on Vaal -Skydiving Adventure
Now this was mind blowing and beyond exhilarating! A view from the top like no other and something everyone should try. Thank you so much to Skydive on the Vaal for an awesome experience!
Ural Side Car Adventure
A day trip with Ural Sidecar Tours – a trip around Hartebeespoort dam in a sidecar! We started at La Wi’ida Lodge, then onto a visit to Chameleon Brewery for some beer tasting. Next we stopped at Van Gaalen Cheese Farm and finally, back to the lodge for a light lunch and a game drive.
Voortrekker Monument Show
We went BUSH at the 4x4 & Outdoor Show at the Voortrekker Monument. Here are a few random shots of our very eventful weekend. Thanks to all the show Babes who worked at the show and all the members who came to support us. You rock!
Rhino Orphanage Visit
This day trip was an absolute dream come true for many of the Babes. Feeding orphaned baby rhino’s at a highly secret location! We learnt about the challenges faced by many of the private rhino owners in South Africa and what we can do to help. This was also a trip done for the Bush Babies and Bush Bugs Club - the little ones loved it!
Elephant Safari Weekend
At the beautiful Kwa Madwala Game Reserve the Babes got a chance to enjoy an elephant interaction, learning about these amazing animals unbelievable sense of smell amongst others. A horseback game safari through the reserve and then back to feed the elephants. A wonderfully, relaxing weekend in the bushveld, close to nature.

Clarens Adventure Weekend
The rain could do nothing to dampen the Babes spirits on this trip! The Babes got their adrenaline going with white water rafting, a horseback trip and some abseiling.
LA Sport Show
The Babes love the LA Sport show! Meeting new people, doing some 4x4 driving, watching the rock crawlers. A big thank you to all the Babes who help at the show and all the people who come out to support!
Rap Jumping & Sand Boarding
This day trip was beyond awesome! Rap jumping off the 20-storey high Ansteys building in downtown Joburg, exhilirating! Top that off with lunch with the Babes and then on to Sand Boarding down the highest mine dump in the city - Mount Mayhem!!
